Your account moves to the free tier: 3 documents, 10 standard-length summaries, 10 explanations, 3 glossary builds and 10 chat turns per month, forever. Nothing is deleted - your library stays exactly as you left it, and you can upgrade from the dashboard whenever you're ready.
Yes, in one click from the dashboard - it opens the Stripe Customer Portal, no email required. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, so you keep Pro access for the time you've already paid for.
You keep Pro access for the remainder of any period you've paid for, so refunds for partial billing periods aren't standard. If something has genuinely gone wrong, email support@getsidenote.app and we'll make it right.
Yes, from the dashboard. Upgrades are prorated, so you only pay the difference for the rest of the month. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal.
Pro+, Pro Max, and Team (for team owners and admins). Sidenote crawls a whole Confluence space through your own signed-in session and adds every page you can open to a collection. Space pages have their own monthly allowance - 200 on Pro+, 500 on Pro Max, and 500 for Team owners and admins - so indexing a space never eats into your document cap. The 7-day Pro trial includes 20 space pages so you can try it; the free and Pro plans don't include space indexing, and regular members on a Team plan don't get it either. If your space is larger than your allowance, email support@getsidenote.app and we can arrange a higher limit.
Sidenote shows an upgrade prompt with the next tier that fits. Everything you've already ingested stays accessible - you just can't ingest new documents, or run more chats, explanations or glossaries, until the monthly counter resets or you upgrade.
Yes. The Team plan is £18 per seat per month, or £14.40 per seat per month billed annually. Every member gets Pro-level caps - the same 25 documents, 75 summaries and 35 chat turns a month as Pro - plus shared team collections, centralized per-seat billing, and SAML SSO with domain auto-join.
